Why did we always meet here-at this table, in this coffee shop, in this city, in this lifetime.why did I kiss you,in that moment between safety and immeasurable danger?the sun is hanging low; you are still out there - in the unknown.where are you?don't leave me like this.don't let the sun set without seeing me.don't send me into your yesterday.please.where does happiness end, and pain begin?
"Hi."
"Hi...I thought you wouldn't come..."

Mother & Child
no misleadings intended. i don't know what to believe rin pero this came out when i got my rolls developed.
i took this picture of one of the windows of our 50 year old ancestral house. taken from outside around 12midnight. 30 seconds exposure. flashed it several times from different angles.
look at the lower left window panel and you will see a face-like figure looking at the camera. you be the judge what it is. i assure you no one goes into that room. and i assure you this is not edited...

The Cross-Posting Feature on Multiply Sucks
Today I was shocked when I saw that the posts from other members in the holgaga blog were showing up this blog as my posts.
My apologies for that.
I figured out the problem - since you just sign in with one account - the google account, all the posts you make from any blog under that account will be cross-posted to the multiply blog. Pakshet.
Thanks for the heads up, guys.

My Favorite Mistake
This photo came from the first roll of my Holga CFN120. It's a mistake, yes, that double exposure of a photo of my friends and my sister. I think it's eerie and my sister had the right amount of scary facial expression. I didn't think it would turn out this way, I didn't even know that I accidentally used an exposure twice. Imagine my surprise when the prints came out.

dying is beautiful
"In this part of the story I am the one who
dies, the only one, and I will die of love because I love you,
because I love you, Love, in fire and in blood."

Kissing The Red Horse
"Life is sweeter when you're with people who care about you. The moment is here, with all of you. I love you all. I want to hug you all."
"This band is pretty good. You have the lighter?"
"What?"
"DO YOU HAVE THE LIGHTER?"
"Yes I do feel much lighter...thanks for being here. I really needed this."

Really Old Photo
This was taken during a lomo walk organized by Lomomanila a few years ago (3 or 4 years maybe). So aside from the building looking old, this really is an old photo! :)
I fell in love with the holga and the "lomo" way with this shot. I was amazed how a cheap plastic camera can take shots like this. Pity that I'm not using my holga as often as I want to... maybe it's about time to rekindle my love for this wonderful toy.

vintage
I already said in the last post that I like old-looking things right? I bet I'm gonna go crazy when I set foot on Europe. I surely don't know when the hell that's going to happen though.
Good thing Old Manila is still alive.

This Church
"SHRINE OF JESUS, THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE" - the church right across SM Mall of Asia.
Henry Sy personally had the Church built. However, he had completely donated the church to the Archdiocese of Manila and management and administration is completely under the control of the Archdiocese of Manila.
Took this shot on a weekday when hardly any people were around and the big parking lot across the mall was empty. Quite the unusual way to name a church, really...but this place is indeed a personal favorite. Its in many ways beautiful and eternal. -Jennie C.
